Atamie International School is the brain child of Deshamanya Dr. Azard Uduman MD(AM), BAMS (AM) , RMP (AM) India, commenced in Jan 2003 located at # 904NegomboRoad,Mabola,Wattala. Presently the school has classes from Pre-School up to Edexcel Advanced Level. The students have the option of selecting Local Ordinary Level and advanced Level examinations in the English Medium as well. Atamie International School has the Principal school at Wattala, Mabola and the branches at Ragama, Kotugoda, & Kotahena.

Presently the student population is over 1500 in all five schools.

The name Atamie comes from the names of the children of the Founder Deshamanya Dr. Azard Uduman. Alex, Tamina, Meisha, Mathew and Evin. It also has a secret meaning. The Japanese call hot water springs as Atamie and they consider these places to be lucky. Atamie therefore has always been lucky steering with enormous success by the grace of GOD! for the last 18 years.
